- On registration, we will email you a confirmation with an invoice. Full payment is required before enrollment in the program is complete. We advise registering as soon as possible to ensure your place in the program.
- All payments must be received by the date indicated on the invoice. If no payment is received, we apologize but will not hold your attendance slot in the program.
Payments:
All payments can be made by bank transfer in U.S. dollars. We accept payments by major credit and debit cards through our website verified by Pay Pal. You do not need to have a Pay Pal account for this process.
Discounts:
Discounts are available for candidates who sign-up early. Group discounts are also available.
Bank Transfers:
- Bank transfers must be made in U.S. dollars. Please note that the remitter/payor is responsible for all bank charges incurred.
Insurance:
- If for any reason, the course is cancelled, we strongly suggest you acquire travel insurance, incidental loss of property and force majeure occurrences while attending the course. The International Protocol Institute of California® will not be responsible for any and all insurance claims.
Cancellation Policy:
The International Protocol Institute of California® will accept cancellation requests only in writing. Prior to one (1) month before seminar date, if you must cancel, the total payment received is refundable, less bank/credit-card transfer charges and fees.
- In the event a third party paid your tuition, any refund due will be issued to that third party.
- If a demonstrated personal emergency interferes with your course of study, you can postpone your enrollment once, for up to one year from your initial course start date, at the discretion of the President, Marie Betts-Johnson.
- All refunds due will be made within forty-five (45) calendar days of the first scheduled day of class or the date of cancellation, whichever is earlier.
- In the event the International Protocol Institute of California® cancels a program subsequent to a student’s enrollment, the institution will refund all monies paid.
Transfers:
- You may transfer your enrollment to another participant on discussion with the International Protocol Institute of California® +1 (619)675-0001.
- We must be notified 48 hours prior to the commencement of the course. • 95% attendance is mandatory to successfully complete the course.
- If a participant has enrolled but fails to attend and has provided us with no notification, 100% of the fees will become non-refundable.
Change of venue, dates and materials:
The International Protocol Institute of California® reserves the right to change venues, dates and materials as necessary, without liability, on providing participants with advanced notice of said changes. The International Protocol Institute of California® reserves the right to cancel or postpone programs in the event of a Force Majeure (Act of God).
On written acceptance to the course, you will receive:
- Pre-Course instructions
- Comprehensive pre-course Questionnaire
- Course Agenda
- Event location, suggested Hotel accommodation and maps
Participant Responsibilities:
The participant is responsible for airfare, ground transportation, hotel accommodation and dinners. The International Protocol Institute of California® will provide a gourmet lunch, snacks and dinner one evening during the course. Special dietary requirements will be accommodated.
Privacy Policy:
We respect your privacy and strict adherence to protecting your privacy is incorporated into all of our data systems. Confidentiality is similarly assured.
We conduct a “Graduation Ceremony” whereby we take group and individual photos. With the participant’s permission, we may videotape their experience of the course. A Release Document from the participant will be requested but is in no way mandatory.
Copyright Policy:
- The International Protocol Institute of California® agrees to conduct a five-day certification training seminar “Train to be an International Protocol Specialist.” On completion, Trainee will be certified as an “International Protocol Specialist,” using the copyrighted materials of The International Protocol Institute of California®.
- All materials received during the five-day course are owned by The International Protocol Institute of California® and are protected by U.S. copyright laws. It is thereby illegal to distribute, display or take credit for all or part of The International Protocol Institute of California’s® materials without the consent of The International Protocol Institute of California®.
- The Training Manuals the Trainee shall receive are expressly for the individual use of the Trainee and portions may only be used as handouts for protocol seminars/training programs. The International Protocol Institute of California’s® materials shall not be used in films, video, television CDs, articles, pamphlets, books or any written published or unpublished work.
Note: The materials, at no point in time, may be used to train individuals on becoming International Protocol Specialists/Consultants.
