HUMANITY IN A STATE OF SHOCK

March 2020 was a month that will not soon be forgotten.  Humanity across the globe was in a state of shock, disbelief and fear of contracting Covid-19.  Priorities shifted from success in business to cheering our medical heroes from our balconies.  Nothing was more important than survival.  It was both heartbreaking and heartwarming seeing true human kindness and resilience at its best.

COMPANIES EMERGED FROM THE “FOG OF COVID-19”

Slowly, but surely, like many other companies, The International Protocol Institute of California® emerged from the “fog of covid-19.” Through a process of observing and absorbing the new realities, we set about reinventing our programs to be ready to meet the challenges of our new world of diminished travel, stay-at-home workforce and precise re-opening protocols.

WHAT DOES THE BUSINESS OF PROTOCOL & DIPLOMACY LOOK LIKE NOW?

In completing this task, we asked: what does business, international protocol and diplomacy look like now?  How long will these changes be around and will things ever get back to normal?  The general consensus was that, while things may return to relative normalcy, this pandemic will forever change how business is conducted on a global scale.
